It is with great sadness that we inform of the passing of Isao Kise, Hanshi, Kaicho of the OSMKKF. Isao Senseisei was referred to as Kaicho from those of us in the OSMKKF and are severely saddened by his passing on February 4, 2025. He was being treated for a severe medical condition for the last months.

His loss is a great one to our organization and is deeply felt by all who knew him and many karateka around the world. He was a karate man of the highest order, and it was a tremendous honor to have trained with him. Kaicho had travelled annually to the US for training camps since 1992 and knew and was friends with many members of our organization. His passing leaves a huge gap. He will be sorely missed.

It was Kaicho’s wish that the OSMKKF continue under the guidance of the directors and that is what will happen. Our federation is strong and will continue as he wished.
